Living and Loving with God’s Love
$35.00 – $175.00
Description
During this weekend retreat, we will prayerfully reflect on the ways God’s grace (God’s Love energy) flows through us in our lives and work, especially in our relationships. As we become more fully the “embodied-spiritual persons” we are called to be, we help knit together the communion of persons and creation all around us. As we see that we are created from the heart of our passionate and compassionate God, we hopefully will grow more fully into our personal gifts to embody God’s grace and love here and now.
Quote: “With grace and cultivation, eros (God’s divine energy) expands from romantic attraction toward lifelong devotion, from a twinge of emotional pity to courageous acts in pursuit of justice, from the early surges of empathy into the mature ability to recognize strangers, foreigners, and even enemies as ‘like us’ – beloved children of God.” Evelyn and James Whitehead . Facilitated by Fr. Henry Beck, OFM

Finding God in Difficult Times
$35.00 – $175.00
Description
Have you ever looked around and wondered, “Where is God in all of this?” If you have, then you are not alone. We all have times when our faith is hard. Things are dark. Hope seems absent. The future seems dim. God seems distant. During this weekend retreat, we will look at how we can see God with eyes of faith during what may seem like troubled times. Facilitated by Friar Joseph Bach, OFM Conv.

Lent 2025: Standing with Mary at the Foot of the Cross
$90.00
Suggested donation each week.
Description
Each Wednesday during Lent, we will begin with mass followed by an evening of reflection. Mary was prepared for this moment through her lifelong attitude of listening, pondering faith. She heard the Word of God and kept it. This reflective pondering was prayer in its deepest sense. The Church has honored Mary’s pondering and her intimate connection to the sufferings of Christ.
She is the strong woman who stood. The Gospel uses the word “to stand.” Even though her heart was broken, she remained open, reflective, listening for the message of God in the moment of profound sorrow. During this Lenten Season, we join Mary at the foot of the cross reflectively listening to God’s message for us as we prepare for the resurrection. Facilitated by Br. Joseph Bach, OFM Conv.
A donation is suggested.

Lent 2025: Group Spiritual Direction
$90.00
Description
Are you interested in gaining an experience of spiritual direction in a group setting? Fr. Henry will be facilitating a group of six to seven persons during the six Saturdays in Lent 2025 in the process of “Group Spiritual Direction.” There will be an introduction to this process at the first gathering, and then we will use this way of listening deeply to one another as we each share our questions, struggles, and joys in the discerning of the Holy Spirit in the experiences of our lives. Each session will begin with a “check-in” with each person, and then we will concentrate on one or two person’s stories of where they are seeing God and searching for God in their lives. Participants will be “listeners” learning to offer open-ended questions that can help the person sharing to go more deeply into their experiences and look for God’s presence and guidance. Participants will also learn to offer insights in a non-intrusive way to also help the person sharing to gain greater insight into their experiences and God accompanying them. A commitment to the total program is needed, though we realize a person may miss a session for a good reason. Please call and speak with Fr. Henry for further information. Thank you.
Six Group Spiritual Direction Sessions on the Saturday mornings of Lent 2025: total program is $90 (can be paid as $15 at each session).
