Franciscan Festival of Fine Arts

This year we are celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Franciscan Festival of Fine Arts!  With over 85 artists, a wonderful enchilada and flauta meal, paella, several food vendors, beer and wine garden, silent auction, and live music on two stages… this is a premier and pleasant art festival in southern New Mexico.  There is plenty of free parking, much of it in the shade, with a donation for entry.  Almost half of the artists are in air conditioned rooms. And the beauty of the Chapel and the grounds of Holy Cross Retreat Center enhance the whole experience.  Saturday Aug. 31st 9:00 till 5:00, and Sunday mass at 9:00am followed by the festival from 10:00 till 4:00.  Find a unique artistic treasure where you meet the artist, and enjoy the day.                                The address is 600 Holy Cross Retreat Center, Mesilla Park, NM, two miles south of University Ave. off of South Main Street in Las Cruces.
