- During this Advent day of reflection, we will look more closely at the Scripture passages of the “infancy narratives” in Matthew and Luke. These Scriptures are precious to us in that they are the “Gospel” in miniature. They affirm that Jesus is the Son of God all during his earthly life, but they also reflect the kinds of responses he will receive from others and the deeper meaning of his life.
